When to Schedule Spring AC Maintenance
The short answer
Spring is the ideal time to prep your system before the heaviest cooling season arrives in Florida.
Schedule before the busiest cooling stretch
A spring visit gives time to correct drainage or airflow problems before the AC is needed heavily. If spring has passed, maintenance can still be useful. Choose timing based on how much the equipment runs, the manufacturer instructions, and any developing symptoms.
Prepare a short service history
Have the model number, approximate installation date, and earlier invoices available. Point out rooms that were uncomfortable last summer. Ask whether the visit includes drain inspection, coil condition, and operating measurements, and keep a copy of the findings for next year.
